WWW Wednesdays // 1•4•17

So, as a new blogger, I decided to delve into a weekly Wednesday meme, and the one that interested me most just happened to be WWW Wednesdays, which is hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words! So here’s my first ever WWW Wednesday!

What are you currently reading?

replica

I literally finished a book earlier today (go me!), and I’ve barely made a dent in my nest read, but it’s Replica by Lauren Oliver! I’m really excited to dive into this one because of its unique format (even though I have no idea how I’m going to read it, but I’ll figure it out eventually!

What did you recently finish reading?

As I said in the beginning, I recently finished a book this morning and that was M.P. Kozlowsky’s book, Frost! I actually ended up giving this one 4 🌟, and I’m hoping to have a full review about it up by this weekend, hopefully?

(I’m hoping that I’m not making empty promises.)

But, initially, I wasn’t really into this one for the first 100 or so pages,  but then it became really brutal, and even a bit more emotional than I thought it’d be. I’m really not one for “journey” type stories where the protagonist(s) go from Point A to Point B for Reason Z – The Darkest Minds and Under the Never Sky come to mind, and I thought they were both meh, but this one was actually really good and managed to keep my interesting.

What do you think you’ll read next?

the-diabolic

After I finish the behemoth that is Replica, I’m hoping to dive into S.J. Kincaid’s The Diabolic, which sounds totally awesome and I’ve heard good things about and happens to be a stand-alone, which is good for me, since I’m known to be a total failure  at finishing series, so I cannot wait to read it!

And that’s it for my first ever WWW Wednesday! Also, if any of you guys actually care about my personal life, yesterday, I got my first letter from a college! I’m a sophomore, and I haven’t even started sending in college resumes, and even though I don’t want to go, I thought it was exciting enough to share with you all!

    • Yes, I have as well! I’m really exited to read it soon! And thank you so much; I wasn’t expecting it at all, so it made me smile! And no problem, I love this, and I can’t wait to do this meme more in the future! 😀
