I know what you might be thinking. “Mikaela, what? I absolutely love your blog and your posts were great and you got 800 followers! What could have gone wrong?” But it just felt rough. I wasn’t happy with the way my blog looked. I wasn’t happy with the content I posted. I wasn’t happy with my stats. And I was just overcome with that innate desire to just delete my blog and start all over.
Obviously, I didn’t. I stopped posting for a while, I took a good week to re-design my blog – and then re-design that re-design. I’m back to posting regularly again, and I’m really happy and excited with the content I’ll be posting for the rest of my first year of blogging. So, with all that, instead of doing a simple “I’ve Re-Designed!” post, I thought it’d be better to pose this as a discussion – how do you deal with blogging burn-out?
